What is the Quran?
Quran is the final revelation of Allah Almighty to the Prophet Muhammad S.A.W for all mankind. The words of the Quran are spoken by Allah the Exalted himself. These words were then sent by Angel Gabriel in the Arabic language. All the sounds, words, and meanings are part of the revelation of Allah S.W.T. We can say that the Holy Quran is not a creature but it is the divine words of Allah Himself.
Allah S.W.T Himself has taken the responsibility of its safety and authority. He said in the Holy Quran “ Indeed, it is We who sent down the Qur’an and indeed, We will be its guardian.” Surah-Alhijr. The Quran was written on leaves, bones. The companions of the Prophet Muhammad S.A.W were used to memorize it by heart to keep it safe at that time.

The Quran has been recited continuously by the companions to the next generation. It was transferred through hearts to us. In short, the holy Quran is the divine and last book of Allah for the guidance and salvation of the whole of mankind until the Day of Judgment.
The Quran was revealed in many series to the Prophet Muhammad S.A.W over a period of 23 years in Makkah and Madina cities of Arab. There are 114 chapters that are called Surahs. Every Surah has its own importance and background. There are many Surah that reveals a whole chapter of commands of Allah. The messages of Allah are communicated in a very pleasant way to mankind.
